PTO is selling Prolife T-shirts that also have Holy Cross Catholic Academy on them. The students have placed their requests and the order has been submitted. Shirts will cost $10 each and extras will be available. We will be purchasing a table for the Prolife Banquet being held March 21st. Seven of the seats will be raffled off to the students who purchase a T-shirt. Mrs. Derryberry will fill the 8th seat and act as our chaperone for the group.
The accreditation welcome dinner on Sunday, February 28th will be hosted by PTO. There will be around 50 guests attending. PTO will be purchasing the meat and each class will be responsible for different types of dishes as follows: 6th –salads, 7th-beverages, 8th-vegetables, 9th-desserts, 10th-breads, 11th-appetizers and 12th-paper goods and decorations. The class parents are coordinating foods for their group. Please contact them if you can contribute a dish for the dinner.
The Fair Café Building needs to be inventoried and all items will be sold or donated to a variety of Catholic organizations that may be in need of them. Assistance is needed with doing the inventory, if you would have some time available to help, please contact Susan Nolan 352-0898 or nolansf@gmail.com.
Numerous thank-yous have been received from faculty and staff for their Christmas bonuses and the items purchased for their wish-lists of equipment and supplies.
Next PTO meeting is this Wednesday, February 10th at 7:00 p.m. Our special guest will be Monsignor Tash from St. Thomas to give us some advice and encouragement with fund raising ideas. He has a long history of coordinating very successful fund raisers and his input will be greatly appreciated. Please come and share your ideas and questions.
Hope to see you Wednesday.
