Ignacio Rosas, President, opened meeting with prayer.
Minutes from last meeting were approved.
Treasure Report:
- Monica Musick submitted a financial report.
- Balance after current expenses paid approximately $2300.
Old Business:
- Nominations for 2010-2011 Booster Club officers for President and Treasure taken. Renee Rivera will run for President. Alice Sanchez will run for Treasure. Vote will take place at April meeting.
- Athletic Awards Banquet is May 4th. Tickets will go on sale April 5th and will be sold through the end of the school day on April 30th. Tickets are $10 for adults $8 for students. Renee Rivera will be providing the table decorations. She will be asking for volunteers to assist her. Melanie Winters from Patches Plus will be there for letter jacket and patch orders.
New Business:
- Mr. Gallegos reported that the medals that have been given out at Athletic Awards Banquet and golf tournaments will need to be reordered. He will provide an estimate on cost at next meeting.
- Athletic schedules for 2010-2011 Volleyball and Basketball season is near completion. Our new district will consist of HCCA, Jesus Chapel El Paso and Abilene Christian. Mr. Gallegos explained the traveling plans for district play.
- Lori Greer presented web page ideas for possible fundraising. Volunteers will be needed to initiate this for next year.
- Lori Greer will put Booster Club minutes and meeting times on our website.
